Food Wardrobe

My co-worker, MT, said something to me that made a bit more sense. We all have a food wardrobe that we wear daily. We can pick and choose the things we put on, like fruits, vegetables, and animal-proteins. We can also change it, weekly, daily, even hourly. It's just like your clothing wardrobe, in that sense.

My closet is filled with plain, boring clothing. Mostly neutral colors like black. There's very few whites (just undershirts), and even fewer amazing colors like lime green or neon pink ("fewer" is read "n-o-n-e"; not even socks).

Clothing is like our diet -- the funner the colors, the more the variety, the more options we have. Add those colorful veggies and fruits!

vs.

Look at all the colors and vibrancy of the color wheel vs. fast food. It seems more alive, more active. To me, it even seems happier. How can you not internally smile when you're faced with so many colors?

So, I guess the point I'm getting at is eat the rainbow, wear the rainbow.

Cheers!
